The Publisher of Fountain Newsbreaker, Akogun Tai Oguntayo has congratulated Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State and Owa Ooye of Okemesi Ekiti, Oba Michael Adedeji Gbadebo on the presidential approval of the Hillside University of Science & Technology sited in the town as well as the appointment of Mr Olawale Fapohunda, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, on his appointment by the President, Muhammadu Buhari, as a member of the Council of Legal Education (CLE),
The publisher who was the erstwhile State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ekiti Council, personally signed the release and made it available to journalists in Ado Ekiti Tuesday.
The Special Adviser to the late Speaker of Ekiti State House of Assembly described the Owa Ooye of Okemesi, Oba Michael Adedeji Gbadebo as a God-sent monarch whose time has brought rapid developments to the town. He urged the founder of the new University, Pastor Olaoye Jayeola not to renege in his good work to the development of humanity.
Below is the publisher’s statement on Mr Wale Fapohunda (SAN):
“Big congratulations
to a friend, a brother and a leader! Today is a special day not just in the life of my town, Okemesi-Ekiti, but in Ekiti State as a whole for having Olawale Fapohunda (SAN) appointed as a member of the Council of Legal Education (CLE).
Whilst we may have momentary political differences, between the two of us, we understand and appreciate the bond of brotherhood and nothing tampers with that fundamental relationship.
Wale himself demonstrated this when he celebrated me at 50, and again stormed my house two years ago to celebrate my wife at 50 in grand style. When I was admitted for PhD in Law, his inspiring message on a political platform, that Okemesi is fast producing the first Professor of Laws is still fresh in my memory.
So, my dear brother, I heartily commend this special feat which by God’s grace you have so soundly earned and richly deserve.
To this worthy son of my late mentor, Prince Sola Fapohunda, I say on behalf of my family, we are proud of you!
