Ekiti Pastor In Police Net For Strangulating Pregnant Wife

A Pastor in Ido Ile Ekiti, Abiodun Sunday Oluwadare popularly known as Ara-ina is already cooling off at the Ekiti State Command of the Nigeria Police for allegedly strangulating his wife, Mrs Tosin Oluwadare over the weekend.
This Ido-Ile born pastor who is known for claiming to be erstwhile notorious herbalist was posted to a popular Christ Apostolic Church inOri Oke Ido mountain in Ekiti West where he was once expelled before this dastardly act took place.

According to the step brother of the deceased, Mr Samuel Ibironke “after killing my sister, he called my wife who is an health worker to come and assist him only for my wife to get there and discovered that he strangulated my sister to death.”
It was gathered that the alleged murderer was caught with the corpse on his way out of the town to go and evacuate the foeto in his dead wife’s womb without the parents approval before he was stopped at Ita-Ido. From there he was taken to the police post in Ido-Ile and later to Ekiti West District Police before he was later transferred to the homicide section of the State command.

Early this year, this pastor was alleged to have kidnapped a child on the mountain where he was working and this led to his dismissal by the authority of the CAC mountain before his reinstatement thereafter.
He was legally married to Mrs Adeyemi Adetola Oluwadare, who already had two grown up children for him before he allegedly killed her with eight month pregnancy.
Fountain Newsbreaker gathered that the deceased was the only child of her mother who is reported to be in coma since the incident happened.

Reacting to the incident, the Kabiyesi, Olojudo of Ido-Ile, His Royal Majesty Oba Aderemi Obaleye, said “it is a very sad occurrence which nearly set the town on fire because the youth went on rampage in protest against the so called pastor. I want the authority to investigate the matter and bring the culprit to book so as to serve as deterrence to others.”

The police in Ido-Ile confirmed the incident but the Fountain Newsbreaker called the Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Sunday Abutu severally without a response. Inside police source at the State command said “the matter is already being investigated and the man will be taken to court after investigation.”

Mr Samuel further explained that when the police interrogated the husband, he confessed that he did not intentionally murder his wife that he only tried to have sex with her but she was struggling with him which led to their fighting and her death.
