Famous Yoruba actor and producer, Murphy Afolabi has thrown entertainment industry into mourning following his sudden death Sunday morning.

A newspaper report disclosed that the Nollywood thespian passed in the wee hours of Sunday reportedly after a bathroom fall

Murphy who was born on May 5, 1974 hailed from Oroki Asala in Osogbo. He was a father of three, two boys, and one girl.

Murphy began his acting career at a young age. His first stint in professional acting began under the guidance of veteran actor Fasasi Olabankewin (Dagunro) in 1998. 

The actor got into limelight following his role in the movie ‘Omo Rapala.’ Until his death, he was a well-loved producer and had multiple movies to his credit.
