Oba Alawe’s Mum dies at 83

The Afuntade dynasty of the Oniwe Ruling House of Ilawe Ekiti has announced, with gratitude to God for a life well spent, the passing of YEYEOBA MARIAN AJIBADE ALABI, the mother of the Alawe of Ilawe Ekiti, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adebanji Ajibade Alabi, AFUTADE1.
This was contained in a press release by Chief Ajibade Olubunmi the media Adviser to Alawe of Ilawe Ekiti.
Yeyeoba Ajibade Alabi aged 83 passed on today, 11th October 2020, at Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado – Ekiti.
She was at the time of her death a devout Christian, the YeyeOba was a retired teacher and an active Community leader .
Oba Adebanji Ajibade Alabi is the chairman of Ekiti State council of traditional rulers.
The press release disclosed that the details of the Burial ceremony of the YeyeOba will be announced later.
