MOB’s Aide Set for Award, Appreciates Onirisa, Organizers
The Senior Legislative Aide (SLA) to the Leader of the Senate at the National Assembly, Mr. Femi Alufa—who is also the Publisher and Chief Executive Officer of Ekiti Summit News Media Group—is set to receive the Yoruba Icon and Omoluabi Award 2026.
This prestigious award is to be conferred on him by the KAARO O JIRE Community Development and Peace Initiative (KCDPIN).
The heritage researcher, genealogist, and media entrepreneur, in his acceptance letter, expressed deep gratitude to the organisers, describing the recognition as both an honour and a call to greater service.
Royal Endorsement and Dedication
Mr. Alufa particularly appreciated the royal endorsement of the Palace of the Ooni of Ife and his selection among 50 distinguished personalities worldwide.
He reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the Omoluabi values of integrity, good character, selfless service, and the preservation of Yoruba cultural heritage.

The grand award presentation is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, November 24, 2026, at the Palace of the Ooni of Ife in Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria.
