Ekiti NUJ Morns Bamidele Olumilua
The Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Ekiti State Council has commiserated with the commissioner for Information Ekiti State, Hon. Muyiwa Olumilua and the state at large over the demise of the former governor, Old Ondo State Evangelist Bamidele Olumilua.
In a statement in Ado Ekiti, the Chairman of the union, Comrade Rotimi Ojomoyela said though the former governor lived a fulfilled life, his death came at a time the state and Nigeria needs his wealth of experience and expertise.
Ojomoyela explained that Evangelist Olumilua was a disciplinarian, selfless and passionate about good governance.
He prayed God to grant the family of the deceased the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and suggested that the need for government to immortalise the Ikere born politician.
