Moment Celebrant Ordered Guests to Leave Her Party for Not Buying Aso-Ebi

A video showing a Nigerian woman announcing at her 70th birthday celebration that anyone who did not buy the party Aso-Ebi should leave the hall immediately has since gone viral and got a lot of people talking.

In the video, the woman, standing at the high table and speaking in a local Yoruba dialect said she was angry and wanted everyone who did not buy the party uniform to vacate the hall as soon as possible. According to her, if they want to also clock 70 years of age in their life, they should just leave, but they could stay if they did not want to live up to 70 years inn life.

Her action was met by some uproar in the hall as her guests could not believe what was going on. The celebrant did not mind if her guests were comfortable or not as she held to the microphone even when someone tried to take it from her so as to avoid further embarrassment.

There have been a lot of reactions to the said video as many believed she was wrong to have done that. According to an X user, even if he had bought the Aso-ebi, he would have still left the event without eating as he perceived it as total disrespect to people who were genuinely their to celebrate with her.
