We’ll Conclude on Political Appointment This Year – Oyebanji

Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State has said that appointments into various political offices will be concluded before the end of this year.
The governor made this declaration on Thursday during the swearing-in of the newly appointed members of commissions. Against the backdrop of agitations among party loyalists over political appointments, the governor stated that he was only following the agreed plans by the party to take one step after the other. He said “now that we are through with who gets what in the Local Government, we can now identify which community needs more appointments and which does not.”
The governor who pleaded for more patience, promised to always do whatever will alleviate people’s suffering and make the entire Ekiti people happy. The elated governor asked the crowd if his government had done well in the last one year and the response was unanimous endorsement.

Oyebanji who charged the new appointees to be closer to the people however pleaded with politicians not to put too much pressure on them.
