Ekiti State Attorney General and Commissioner for
Justice, Olawale Fapohunda has lauded the governor’s visit to
the Ministry of Justice and other ministries at the State’s Secretariat and has
described it as a good development.

Reacting to the governor’s visit, the
Commissioner for Justice said, “it is good the governor came here today to see
what we are doing here in the ministry, even with the limited resources available
to us.

“Moving forward, there are still much more to do,

“Ultimately, our goal is to have a different building.
It is not acceptable for employees to work in an uncomfortable environment, but
we have tried as much as possible to make the working environment as comfortable as

“In 2019 we hope to begin the
reconstruction of our new office complex, which when completed, will give us more space. This is essential for us to serve the government and the people of Ekiti State in an efficient

Fapohunda who urged legal officers and workers in
the ministry to do better said, “What I have told them is that Mr. Governor is interested in what we are
doing here. Many of the approvals that we
have managed to get is because the governor believes in us”.
